The first step is to contact us through our "Get in Touch" form or contact us directly for assistance with the application process via phone, text, or email.
3. What are the eligibility requirements?
Residents must be cognitive aware of what's going on, mobile, self-sufficient, and compliant on medication(s). Residents must also receive guaranteed income of SSI/SSDI, VA benefits, or be sponsored by an government or non-profit organization.
8. Is food provided?
No, we do not provide any food.
5. Do you offer ADL or medical support?
No, all residents MUST be self-sufficient in all Activity of Daily Living skills. We DO NOT provide any medical care or personal care services.
2. Who is eligible for housing with S&V New Horizons, LLC?
We serve individuals transitioning from homelessness, veterans seeking stable housing, and those re-entering society after incarceration. Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis through an intake assessment. We are a background-friendly organization.

9. How long can residents stay?
Enjoy the flexibility of staying at one of our shared living homes on a month-to-month basis. This ensures residents have the option to move or adjust their living situation as needed. We offer all residents a month-to-month occupancy agreement. We ask all residents to provide us with atleast a 30-day written notice prior to move-out.
11. Do you require a credit check?
No, we do not require a credit check. We make it simple for individuals to move-in.
10. Do you have security cameras?
Yes, for the safety of all residents, there are security cameras outside and in all common areas of our homes. Residents must sign a security camera consent and acknowledging form.
4. What is the cost to live in our shared homes?
The cost is significantly below market rate and is often based on a percentage of income to ensure it remains manageable for our residents. Specific costs are discussed during the intake process.
12. What are the house rules?
All residents are expected to contribute to a safe, clean, and respectful living environment. This includes participating in house chores, respecting quiet hours, and adhering to a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol on the premises, bullying, violence, or harrassment. A full list of community guidelines is provided upon move-in.
6. Are the homes furnished?
Yes, all our shared living spaces are fully furnished with essential furniture and appliances. Bedrooms includes a bed, dresser, night stand, lamp and closet space per resident. Common areas like the living room and kitchen are also fully equipped.
